About us

We are a small and growing group who have been meeting since February 2009. Our aim is to raise awareness of Transition and the issues involved (ie, peak oil, climate change). We have been given the use of a small council-owned garden space (with polytunnel), and we are intending to expand this into a network of growing spaces and composting projects across the area. We are about to launch a micro-allotment scheme to help local people start growing vegetables in their front gardens.

Making contact with us

We get together most weeks, often at our garden on Hallamgate Road. You can contact us via our mailing list: click here or by calling Clare on 07507 778675
